and luckily I have no place to go. This last storm left about a foot of snow. Pretty, but awfully hard to slog through. I hurt my back shoveling after the last couple of storms and am not going to overdo anything as it just got back to near normal. D. took the snowblower in for repair this weekend (he bought it from someone but it didn't work long for us) and will pick it up after work. He did manage to get out of the driveway somehow this morning. In the meantime we hired someone to plow us out of this one- it's just too much snow!
Let's hope the lawnmower starts up in the spring.
Knitting here and there:
I added a Hurdy Gurdy hat to the shower gift at D's request.
The first Bonbon sleeve is done.
So are the shrug cuffs, ready to be attached to the sleeves. They are crocheted on to the sleeves- Eeek! I have to make mental preparation before attempting that.
You poor guys! Can't believe you have more snow!! Spring will come - keep hoping.

I hope your back is feeling better! I am sore today from wrestling the snowblower and shoveling too. Jeff bashed through to work early in the morning, but later on the plow trucks dumped a lot of snow in the end of the driveway, so I had to do something so he'd be able to get home again!!

Greetings from San Francisco! This probably isn't a good time to mention that it has been t-shirt weather here.
I'm a bad commenter as usual. I meant to say how it looks like 2011 was off to such a great start, great new space at home, fresh space at work, victory over 10 lbs.
And it must be such a great feeling, working on your daughter's wedding shrug.
We are finally going East. Maine in August for a family reunion.

You guys have gotten so much more snow than we have this year. Lucky you. We've only got about a foot on the ground, but we're expecting 8 to 14 inches in the next two days.
Good times.
Hope that snow blower gets fixed soon!
