Any chance you could move half of your stitches onto another circular needle? I use two circs for socks and it works great. :-D

Judy

I used two sets of circulars when I made the bathmat. Give it a try.

I am in a knitting funk, too, but I think it's because spring has arrived and there's much to do outside.

Which brings me to the Omnivore's Dilemma. I haven't read it yet, although I have read A,V, M. We are all over the food thing this year. We already have one of our own pigs in the freezer and we're doing meat birds this spring. It will be over a year before we have our own beef, but it's coming. As for the garden, it could be totally out of control, but we're doing it up big this year.

I'm getting so squirrelly about food that I even am starting to have issues in cheap restaurants about where the meat came from! (Fast food meat is off my list altogether.)

Have fun on the bandwagon!

Your question intrigued me so I did a quick internet search. It looks like you can get Addi Turbo needles in 48" and 60" from here:

That Michael Pollen book is on my list too to read. I've already looked up the return of the Farmer's Market to our town (June) but I'm not quite ready to start a vegetable garden, which will require fencing, etc. I think M.P. has a newer book out on food/eating too.

Oh, that looks like an interesting book. I'll have to make a trip to the library this week. I've been in a fiction reading binge.
