I haven't entered anything at the Fair for a couple of years. I used to enter veggies and canned goods and won some ribbons! That pig is funny! I like all your colorful pics today. Thanks for the comment on my blog..it's nice to know you like the sierra! It's always hard to choose new things by mail order, so comments really help!


I remember seeing an enormous pumpkin at a harvest fair in RI...I don't remember the exact location but I think it might have been near a bird sanctuary around Tiverton or Newport.

The Cobblestone Pullover looks neat, but would the garter stitch in the yoke end up stretching more than the stockinette below?


Lady E looks great! It's so nice that it's not too humid, so we can knit and block more comfortably.

I loved seeing your photos of the fair. When I was small we used to visit them all as a family, and I haven't been in a long time. Maybe I need to go again!
