It's been over six years since we had the sunroom addition built as part of our kitchen remodel. Procrastinators that we are, we're just now getting around to the fun of furnishing it so it can be used as something more than a junk catch-all, and a Christmas tree room in December. There are plants in there and a little Pier 1 cafe table and two chairs, but we really never use the room.
Now there's a rug covering the cold tiles, and a big sunny yellow chair for me to knit and listen to audiobooks. The chair is big enough for one and a half grownups or a few kids. It's so big that when my back is against the back of the chair, my feet are about a foot off the ground! Which meant I was forced to go buy pillows.
I'm glad I got the two oblong yellow pillow for the sides, because my arms don't reach the chair arms! Need to have arm support when knitting.
Tuffy has been enjoying the gigantic packing box.
Of course when I was out of the room for a bit I returned to find this:
He knows he's being a bad boy and won't look at me until I get in his face:
What are you gonna do about it?
He eventually got off the chair, and I covered it with the slipcover it had arrived in. However I later noticed it looked kind of lumpy:
Sigh. It will be a losing battle until the novelty wears off.
