The Skeldon Cardigan is finished- another project that I'm very happy with. Tweedy, bulky yarn + easy pattern + no buttons or buttonholes to deal with makes a fast project. The photos don't show the sweater to its best advantage so I may try to get a few more, so you can see the cables along the front edges.
Pattern: Skeldon
Designer: Berroco Design Team
Source: Berroco #301, Berroco Campus
Yarn: Berroco Campus, color 2484 "Coffee Run". The pattern called for 7 skeins for the size Medium, but it only took 6 skeins.
The PTO was looking for teachers to start some afterschool groups, so I volunteered to start a knitting club. It's only for 5 sessions, and I only have two students, but they have both picked up the basics very quickly and are enjoying themselves. I will probably offer the class again later but on a different afternoon to try and snag more 'customers'.
Oh your new cardi looks fabulous and it sounds like it was a very satisfying knit!! Good luck with the new knitters.

Very nice, that was quick! I bet as soon as others see what the two in your club have accomplished they'll be wanting to join in.
